The Peaceful Reunification of China Association of New Zealand Established ( 16-Oct-2000 )

The Peaceful Unification of China Association of New Zealand is base in Auckland, the biggest and most populous city of New Zealand.
Honorary President Forever is Steven Wong.
JinMing Chen is the current president of the association. The objects of the association are
to adhere to and promote the one China policy, to object to and discourage Taiwan’s independence and separation from China and to promote and accelerate the peaceful reunification of China.
The association would organize various kinds of activities to enhance Chinese culture overseas, to promote understanding and support from the New Zealand government and people towards the cause of China’s peaceful reunification, and unite Chinese, overseas Chinese and friends from other countries for promoting China’s peaceful reunification.
The realization of the entire reunification of China is the common desire of all Chinese, including overseas Chinese as well as compatriots of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao.
“A unified China will be in the interests of the Chinese people across the straits and conducive to peace and development in Asia-Pacific region and in the world at large.

　　本会的宗旨是：高举爱国主义旗帜，团结一切拥护中国和平统一的海内外同胞，推动台湾海峡两岸的民间交流与往来，反对制造“台湾独立”、“两个中国”、“一中一台”等分裂中国的活动，促进早日实现祖国和平统一。

　　本会的主要任务是：广泛联系新西兰、香港特别行政区、澳门特别行政区、台湾地区和海外各界人士及相关团体，共同探索中国统一的途径，反对“台湾独立”，“两个中国”，“一中一台”等分裂活动，促进海峡两岸交流与合作，推动祖国和平统一进程；促进海峡两岸民间经贸、文化、教育、科技、学术、新闻出版、体育、艺术、旅游等方面的交流和交往，增进两岸同胞的了解和情谊；更好地发挥港澳台和海外各界代表人士在促进祖国和平统一中的作用；开展多种形式的宣传工作，扩大影响，增进共识。
